Estate FAQ
How do I know if my jewelry is considered “estate”?
"Estate" means previously owned. It can refer to antique, vintage, or even modern pieces. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to take a look and guide you!
What types of jewelry do you buy? Do you buy broken or worn pieces?
We purchase a wide range of pieces, including antique and vintage jewelry, diamond rings, gold and platinum items, signed designer pieces, and full collections. If a piece is broken or worn, depending on the materials and components, we may still be able to make an offer.
How do you determine the value of my jewelry?
We consider factors such as condition, craftsmanship, materials, age, and current market trends. Please bring any relevant documents or certifications with you. There is no fee or commission required to get a bid on your pieces and there is no purchase obligation once a bid is extended.
Do you buy metals?
Yes, we purchase all precious metals.
Do I need an appointment? What should I bring with me?
We recommend scheduling an appointment so we can give you and your jewelry the time and attention you deserve, but walk-ins are welcome and will be accommodated as best we can.
When you come in you need your ID and please bring any relevant documents or certifications with you.
How does payment work?
Once a bid is offered and accepted, we will pay immediately in the form of a check or store credit, whichever you prefer. Please keep in mind sometimes pieces need to be left for assessment prior to extending an offer.
